FAQs

Can I bring a photo of the type of hair cut I want?

Yes! If you’re not sure how to explain the exact type of haircut you would like, a photo of the hairstyle, is a great way to show the look you are going for.

And we make it super simple, either after your initial call to book your appointment with Katherine you can text the photo with your name, or when you arrive, simply show a screenshot of your dream hair hairstyle.

Should I wash my hair before I come in for a haircut?

How clean your hair should be will really depend on what range of services you are seeing us for on the day, so when booking your consult, just ask Katherine and she will give advice on your specific situation.

For instance, if you are coming into our Adelaide hair salon to also colour your hair, having freshly clean hair is not ideal, as most hair dyes are designed to work better on hair that isn’t freshly cleaned. In fact, the natural oils in your hair actually protect your scalp against any irritation that may be caused by the dye.

How often should I cut my hair?

To ensure you maintain a healthy head of hair, we recommend you have a trim every 6-8 weeks, if you are wishing to maintain your current hairstyle and length.

However, if your attempting to grow your hair, you can leave it a little longer, up to 10 or even 12 weeks, depending on your hair type.
